We invite you to the Concrete garden.
Trine tells you her story and you can walk in a small Troll forest - relax in a cozy corner - hear the water trickle in fountains, find peace in your soul and see wonderful figures. Create your own fantasy world about these characters - Trine found hers and the life...
Trine wanted to have a farm with horses, stables, riding track and dogs. She worked day and night to realize her dream and then one day her project was finished and life was to be enjoyed.
But, suddenly she was struck by illness and her whole dream was shattered. Horses, stables and riding arena were shut down and life was put on hold.
She did not return to normal working life.
What now, Trine said to herself. I am alive and I want a nice garden to enrich my everyday life and fight against my illness. I want SOMETHING in my garden. With her creative power and ideas, she started with mesh forms to make SOMETHING for the garden, which became sculptures in many varieties and shapes. She develops this idea to start with sculpture-production in concrete, in order to cope in the Arctic climate. Today, she lives out her passion with a universe of figures, trolls and other things that have helped her on the way back to life.
Walking in this jungle of figures, in the Troll Forest and cozy corners, you will find peace in your soul. Here you can see and feel the proximity to SOMETHING, in Trine's garden.
In this garden, in addition to figures made in concrete, you will also find local handicraft products made in ceramics, glass and knitted/sewn products.
If you are a dreamer you can now buy – The Dream catchers. Hmmm.

Fjord-fishing trip and arctic marine wildlife.
It is said that salt water flows through the veins of Norwegians. And it is perhaps not so surprising - after all, we have a fishing history that goes all the way back to the Stone Age. Along the entire coast, from south to north, there are still a number of small coastal communities and fishing villages where fishing is an important part of the local lifestyle.
At the end of a day of fishing, we expect you to post proud selfies with freshly caught cod, halibut or perhaps a haddock, pollock, mackerel, sole... We could go on, but you get the point.
Now you can experience a bit of history by joining this tour.
We take you to the best fishing spots where our ancestors have fished for centuries. Our local guides will tell you old stories and traditions that our ancestors have passed down through the generations. You get to fish and we serve the catch, while you enjoy northern Norwegian hospitality on board our unique boat Capella.
Everyone cannot fish at the same time. We share 6-8 fishing rods, but all will have the opportunity to fish.
Keep your camera ready at all times, as you will have incredible photo opportunities.
This is a safe, family-friendly trip where you also get to see more of the Arctic landscape.
